I am so grateful for the support of my customers, your loyalty and continued patronage has allowed me to pursue my love of dyeing and knitting since 2010. I’ve moved from New York city to beautiful western New York, and i feel privileged to live right on the shore of Lake Ontario.
My very favorite place to be is... in the studio...dyeing, dreaming, experimenting...my personal heaven!
I opened my shop in May of 2010, while I was working full time in NYC. Now, as of our move to Rochester, New York, 7 years later, Swoon Fibers evolved into a full-time life in my dye workshop. This year in June, will be a lucky 13th year in business.
My shop concept has always been about yarns to "swoon" over, as that is the core of the deep love and intense yearning I have always had for delectable yarns.

Color...and unusual hard-to-find subtle and different color combinations has been my main focus. I will knit a swatch of a newly dyed yarn , as I love to see how it will look!

I love the excitement that knitters and crafters have about yarn, so when I deal with customers I try to make the experience as smooth as possible. I get it: you fall in love with something, you want it right away...that's me, too!!

All of my hand dyed yarns are a labor of love, they are an expression of the love of my life: fiber & how fiber takes color, and how yarn looks when it is knitted, how fiber looks when it is spun.

I hope you will join me in this journey of discovery and sharing,and the joy of all these things that we love to make with yarn.
